Job Description:
Cimcor is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director/VP of Marketing and Communications to lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive sales qualified leads while increasing awareness and adoption of our products. Your target audience are medium to large enterprises, governments, and other entities that require cybersecurity and compliance software. The Director/VP of Marketing and Communications will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans that align with Cimcor's overall business goals and objectives. Our candidate must be a passionate, experienced marketer that has a strong understanding of the cybersecurity marketplace and cybersecurity technology.
Responsibilities:
- Demand and lead generation – Develop and implement strategies to drive product awareness and demand. The effectiveness of this will be measured by the number of Sales Qualified Leads generated.
- Strategy – Identify, create or brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- Product messaging and positioning – Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and differentiates our organization in the market
- Content Development – Conceptualize and create technical and educational product and solution content for a variety of platforms. Optimize landing pages, and the entire customer journey
- Market, customer, and competitive analysis - Be the expert on the customer, the industry trends, and the players in the market
- Advertising - Create a robust and effective multi-channel advertising strategy centered around digital marketing, tradeshows, paid sponsorships, and other identified opportunities.
- Public Relations - Create relevant press releases, social media engagement, and other methods to amplify our message and ensure industrywide visibility.
- Sales enablement – Work closely with the sales team to develop lead generation programs and support sales efforts. Communicate value proposition and provide high-value sales tools, brochures, whitepapers, training, and collateral
- Management relationships – Manage relationships with key vendors, industry influencers, editors, publicists, bloggers, graphic artists and other strategic relationships
- Partners - Manage communications to resellers & distributors to ensure they are always up to date, trained, and have access to effective sales enablement tools and materials.
- Current – Must stay up-to-date with the latest marketing techniques, trends, and best practices in digital marketing, and methods to measure its effectiveness.
Requirements:
- BA / BS (MBA Preferred) with Four (4) years prior experience in a similar position
- Proven experience creating marketing plans encompassing strategy, customer research, competitive analysis, product requirements, messaging, pricing, etc
- Experience initiating and driving a range of GTM programs including webinars, tradeshows, social media, content marketing, inbound marketing, etc.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments, and measuring ROI of advertising campaigns
- Experience with Hubspot, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, LinkedIn and SEO optimization.
- Excellent English presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with an eye for quality and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively lead, inspire, and mentor direct and indirect reports
- Ability to work closely with sales team to ensure alignment and effective sales enablement
- Strength in collaborating with cross-functional teams, across geographies, including executive management, product management, operations, and sales.
